چکیده

In this paper, we present two different methods in order to solve a monotone linear complementarity problem (LCP ): a simplicial method (Lemke’s method) related to the Jordan’s pivot and the interior point method based on the central path. We demonstrate that a quadratic convex program (QCP ) can be written as a (LCP ) form and, thus, be solved by means of one of these two methods. We provide numerical simulations as well as experimental and comparative results regarding these two methods.

Improved infeasible-interior-point algorithm for linear complementarity problems

We present a modified version of the infeasible-interior- We present a modified version of the infeasible-interior-point algorithm for monotone linear complementary problems introduced by Mansouri et al. (Nonlinear Anal. Real World Appl. 12(2011) 545--561). Each main step of the algorithm consists of a feasibility step and several centering steps. We use a different feasibility step, which tar...

An improved infeasible‎ ‎interior-point method for symmetric cone linear complementarity‎ ‎problem

We present an improved version of a full Nesterov-Todd step infeasible interior-point method for linear complementarityproblem over symmetric cone (Bull. Iranian Math. Soc., 40(3), 541-564, (2014)). In the earlier version, each iteration consisted of one so-called feasibility step and a few -at most three - centering steps. Here, each iteration consists of only a feasibility step. Thus, the new...

An infeasible interior-point method for the $P*$-matrix linear complementarity problem based on a trigonometric kernel function with full-Newton step

An infeasible interior-point algorithm for solving the$P_*$-matrix linear complementarity problem based on a kernelfunction with trigonometric barrier term is analyzed. Each (main)iteration of the algorithm consists of a feasibility step andseveral centrality steps, whose feasibility step is induced by atrigonometric kernel function. The complexity result coincides withthe best result for infea...

An Infeasible Interior Point Method for the Monotone Linear Complementarity Problem

Linear complementarity problem noted (LCP) becames in present the subject of many reseach interest because it arises in many areas and it includes the two important domains in optimization:the linear programming (LP) and the convex quadratic (CQP) programming. So the researchers aims to extend the results obtained in (LP) and (CQP) to (LCP). Differents classes of methods are proposed to solve (...
